Wow! This semester has been a lot of work. However, I have learned a ton. So when I say the end is near I don't mean the end of the world (after-all no-one knows the day or the hours that the Lord will return) but I mean that light at the end of the tunnel. Before I started grad school in January, it had been a long time since I was in school. I know my own students get a bit fatigued at the end of a semester so every semester, without fail, I send them out a "theres a light at the end of the tunnel" email as a way of encouragement and a reminder that it is all worth it in the end. I think I will include myself on that email next week when I send it out. If you are reading this and are in the M.Ed. program at Athens let me encourage you! Take Dr. Cowan's Technology for Teaching and Training course. Be ready to work but also be ready to learn! It has been an adventure this semester but I have to get to the end of the tunnel so that I can get ready to enter the next one in the Fall.
